Josie Josie Bindi Bindi AmandaA Hollywood, California native, Josie Davis is an actress, producer and writer. Davis started her career at age three, when she starred in television advertisements. Her first role was as an episode regular while she was just a child on the popular TV series, Charles In Charge. It was number one in the syndication ratings. Josie received three nominations to the most prestigious Youth In FIlm Award, which she took home for her role as Sarah Powell. As an adult and the main character in several television shows, Davis has won two Lifetime Movie Network awards. Davis could have the chance to join the writing program at USC. However, she chose to study acting. She was a student of Paul E Richards, who died in 1998and taught for the next 20 years. Davis, at the age of 24, auditioned before some of the most famous actors in Hollywood: Shelley Winters and Mark Rydell in addition to Martin Landau. Davis was accepted into the renowned Actors Studio after just one audition. Davis was granted work privileges, and then appointed a Lifetime Member. Davis was among only two people accepted for those auditions in the year that she was accepted out of more than 1,000 candidates.
